 This week Field Electrical Ltd has gone 100% Led on it outside lighting the last of the lamps where changed in our outside signs, so from now on we will be saving money and helping the environment plus we have recycled all the fluorescent tubes.

As We all now know the public have spoken and the vote is to leave the EU which is exciting  but worrying at the same time, but think about this message when buying goods and services for home or work.

 

Summer is here at Last 

The sun is out and everyone is out in the garden making it look good but while you out there don't forget to check your light fittings are still safe to use and they haven't become damaged over the winter months.

Electrical Safety First recommends periodic inspection and testing should be carried out at the following times:

- for tenanted properties, every 5 years or at each change of occupancy, whichever is sooner
- at least every 10 years for an owner-occupied home
- at least every 5 years for a business

The Landlords and Tenant Act 1985 requires landlords of properties with short leases to keep the electrical wiring in repair and in proper working order.
