We will all be getting the decorations down from the loft or from under the stairs over the next few weeks where they have been packed away for a whole 12 months in the cold and damp conditions.Here are a few Safety tips to follow.Place any electrical item in a warm room to allow the damp to dry out before plugging in and switching on.Check all cables and connections to each lamp and switch.If you are replacing any lamps make sure you replace with the same wattage and style of lamp.
